Earlier this year Callaway Cars unveiled its new C7 Corvette GT3-R racecar, which is eligible to race in various FIA sanctioned series in Europe such as the ADAC GT Masters. The car caught the internet’s attention when it was unveiled thanks to its bad ass looks, and we’re happy to report the car looks just as sinister when it’s in motion.
Chevrolet Europe recently released this video of Callaway testing the Corvette GT3-R at the Hockenheimring in Germany – the same track where it enjoyed its debut in October. It’s the first footage of the Corvette GT3-R on the move and allows us to hear the thunderous exhaust note of the 600 horsepower 6.2-liter V8 and the unmistakable whine of the X-Trac transmission’s straight cut gears.
