600hp, Normally Aspirated, 32-Valves and DOHC C8?
(C) Car And Driver
It is being reported that the C8 Z06 is still in development and could come as a 2021 Model, but the Coronavirus may push this to 2022. The car will be powered by a naturally aspirated DOHC 32-valve 5.5-liter Flat-Plane V8, Able to rev to between 8500 and 9000 rpm!
According to reports from Car and Driver the C8 Z06 is all but assured to have 600 horses. It is also reported that Chevy is not done there, as it also has several other planned ultra-high-performance variants in the works.
While there are still a lot of unknowns surrounding the upcoming Z06, the engine and general horsepower figure aren’t among them. That’s because the car will feature a detuned version of the same engine featured in the C8.R racecar, according to the magazine.
This very sharp and unusual Pantera came to us from a local So. CA. collector. One of only 87 Lime Green Pantera’s built in ’72. This pre L chrome bumper example features a rebuilt 351 Cleveland V-8 and 5-spd. manual ZF transaxle. Its been nicely restored and has been repainted in the correct, factory color in a durable base coat/clear coat.
Trades accepted. Excellent financing.

What Mike likes about this Corvette:
“The ZR1 has always been referred to as the King Of The Hill as far as Chevrolet is concerned! It also stands for the pinnacle of performance from General Motors in any production car that they have ever built. In keeping with the spirit of GM, the C6 Generation of the ZR1 was literally the superior being of all things beastly. With 638 horsepower, this generation ZR1, which started in 2009, drew huge crowds of followers and interest like no other. Our example here is stunning in silver and came to us through the son of his recently deceased dad. Impeccable throughout this very rare example, 1 of 48 in this color, Is being offered here today at a very reasonable asking price. Don’t miss out because you won’t find another one.”

We don’t often get ZR-1’s. So, it’s always a treat when we do! This one came from a local owner right here in O.C. It’s a loaded example with 3ZR Premium Equipment Group, chrome aluminum wheels and Lloyd mats front and rear.
It’s traveled only 10k miles since new and is in pristine condition throughout! Blade Silver was the 2nd rarest color in ’11 (1 of only 48 built). And it glows in the sunlight! Comes with books, manuals, spare key fob, and service records.
