The “KR” stood for King of the Road, and underneath the hood is the legendary 428 Cobra Jet V8 that helped earn it that name. Combine that big-block power with a 4-speed, open-air convertible body, and classic Shelby styling, and you have one of the most desirable combinations of the muscle-car era.
This example has undergone a comprehensive high-quality restoration and is loaded with desirable equipment, including a power convertible top, power front disc brakes, power steering, Tilt-Away steering column, AM/FM radio, shoulder harnesses, and the GT, Interior Décor, and Visibility Groups. A Marti Report accompanies the car and documents its factory specifications and original equipment.
