Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale

Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, heralded as the official kickoff to the auction year, saw unprecedented success with a record-breaking $207.6 million in Total Auction Sales, marking the highest in Company History.

The nine-day extravaganza commenced with a Rock the Block party featuring electrifying performances by Foreigner and Night Ranger. A highlight was the impromptu appearance of Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony, who joined Red Voodoo’s set to pay tribute to Eddie Van Halen on what would have been his 69th birthday.

Celebrity-owned vehicles stole the show, with stars like Nicolas Cage and Kris Jenner offering their prized possessions for auction. Among the top 10 most expensive cars sold were iconic classics like the 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe ($3,410,000), a 2018 Bugatti Chiron ($2,970,000), and a 1967 Custom Corvette Convertible ($1,100,000).

The auction boasted an impressive lineup, featuring 2,016 collectible vehicles, all sold with No Reserve, totaling $200.9 million. Additionally, 1,180 pieces of authentic automobilia fetched $6.7 million. Notably, $1 million was raised for charity through the sale of four special vehicles.

Never under any circumstances take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

If you live to be 100, you got it made. Very few people die past that age.

I own a 1990 ZR 1 Corvette and had issues with it shutting off while on a drive as well as a secondary issue of a lack of engine horsepower. After several months of having the car looked at by two purportedly Corvette specialist shops, issues remained unresolved. Fortunately, I discovered Corvette Mike who promptly diagnosed and repaired the issues. My Corvette has never run better. Richard Simpson of its service department was extremely professional in keeping me apprised at every step of the service process. Excellent service!
