Here is a peak behind the scenes at the Bowling Green production plant in Kentucky USA, where the Right-Hand-Drive C8 is now being proudly built. It’s exciting for the Corvette to be offered as a worldwide product and expand their customer base.

It comes in a No. 3 edition (Accelerate Yellow body with gray graphics) and a No. 4 edition (Hypersonic Gray body with yellow graphics). Both also come with a matching Custom-fitted indoor car cover depicting the appearance of either the No. 3 or No. 4 Corvette C8.R race car depending on the model.
Doug Freedman, Founder of the Concours on the Avenue,
has Passed Away
Doug Freedman founded the Carmel-by-the-Sea Concours on the Avenue, a free event that kicks of Monterey Car Week and became one of the must-sees in a long week of must-sees. He was also a past national president of the Ferrari club.
Freedman, his wife Genie, and along with about 300 volunteers, put on the Concours on the Avenue every year in the streets of the storybook town of Carmel-by-the-Sea. It was always a terrific time with the morning fog rolling away politely almost at Freedman’s behest to reveal blocks and blocks of Porsches, Ferraris, and all kinds of unique and rare cars, all there for the public to see for free. Every year that the show ran, Freedman always said it was the best year ever.
Freedman passed away October 3, 2021 of a heart attack while attending the Audrain Concours, a car guy to the very end.
The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Knoxville, Iowa. This month they have kicked off their 2021-22 fundraising campaign and they are giving away a new 2022 Corvette IMSA GTLM Championship C8.R Edition plus $25,000 cash to help pay the taxes!
The 2022 Corvette C8.R Edition commemorates Corvette Racing’s sweep of the GT Le Mans (GTLM) Championships by Corvette Racing’s mid-engine C8.R in its inaugural year of racing. During the 2020 race schedule, the C8.R would win IMSA’s Manufacturers, Drivers, and Team Championships. Chevrolet is celebrating that trifecta of championships with the production of only 1,000 examples, but you have a chance to take home a Hypersonic Gray Z51 Coupe with your donation!

John A. and his 2018 Dodge Challenger in Miami, Florida
It was love at first sight when John bought this brand new 1 of 1 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT demon finished in indigo blue over demonic red interior when it hit the dealer’s lot in May of 2018. He knew it was going to be fast as it came with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 rated at 840 hp mated to an 8-speed torqueflite automatic transmission. John was amazed the first time he punched it, as the front tires wanted to lift off the ground.
He said the only issue he has had with this demon, was where to store the, $1 option, crate full of goodies to make the car even faster.
