From the reports we have seen since the new 2019 ZR1 was officially announced, we know it was going to be fast, but not this fast. Car & Driver took a brand new, off the dealer’s lot, ZR1 to The Texas Mile to see what the performance gurus in Bowling Green had produced. The results are very impressive.
It can do 0-60 in just 2.85 seconds, 0-100 takes just 6 seconds, it can run a quarter mile in just 10.6 seconds and hit a speed of 190.1mph at The Texas Mile; with more road, it should hit over 212mph! These are very impressive numbers to be sure, but for a car with a starting price of $119k, it is unheard of. It should be noted that Car & Driver took the big wing off the back to get the best time at The Texas Mile. With the wing, the ZR1 hit 180mph. All that down force costs top speed.
