We’re proud to present an unrestored 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429. Ford’s legendary NASCAR homologation special, hand-built by Kar Kraft to house the 429 cubic-inch V8 (375 hp, 4-speed manual).
Showing just 4,025 original, mirror-matched miles, this Boss 9 remains all-original — paint, interior, engine, and chassis, finished in striking Grabber Blue with a white interior. Lovingly cared for by its third owner for nearly 40 years in Northern California.
The documentation is nothing short of extraordinary, including a written letter from Bob Perkins himself, on his letterhead, attesting to the car’s originality and authenticating its original mileage.
Unrestored, barely over 4,000 mile Boss 429s with this level of documentation simply don’t come to market often. Between its exceptional originality, remarkably low mileage, and Bob Perkins’ own authentication, this could be one of just a handful of examples like it left anywhere in the world.
