Fresno police investigating the sale of parts from a Corvette being sold on the Internet arrested two men Tuesday afternoon in northwest Fresno.
Police said officers went to the 8200 block of North Bond Avenue about 5:30 p.m. to follow up an investigation of the Corvette theft. Officers conducting a probation search at the home found that one man was in possession of heroin for sale and also found parts of the Corvette in a trailer. The search led officers to the 6600 block of West McKinley Avenue, where they found a chop shop and additional car parts and other items taken in burglaries.
Both men were booked into Fresno County Jail.
