Exciting news for Corvette enthusiasts! The highly anticipated 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is set to begin production in Q2 of 2025, with order books officially opening in February.

Key Ordering Dates:
February 11 – Chevrolet’s online configurator goes live
February 13 – First allocation cycle begins
February 20 – Dealers with allocation can start placing orders

Pricing & Value:
ZR1 Coupe: $185,995 (includes $1,695 destination charge)
ZR1 Convertible: $195,995

For comparison, a Ferrari SF90 Stradale starts at over $500,000, and a McLaren 750S comes in at $330,000—yet the ZR1 delivers world-class performance at a fraction of the price!

With 1,064 horsepower under the hood, a 9.6-second quarter-mile time, and a record-breaking top speed of 233 mph, the ZR1 promises to deliver hypercar-level performance, Chevrolet has once again redefined supercar value, proving that American engineering can stand toe-to-toe with the best in the world.

Brandon’s 1965 396/425 Corvette

Here’s my ‘65 396/425 roadster that I got in 2016. Traded up from a Silver ‘64 coupe. Can’t beat a C2 Corvette for power and reliability!

My mom had a dark blue ‘63 327/300 4-speed roadster when I was growing up and it was our only family car. I would sit on the pad between the seats when both my parents were in the car. My mom used to drive the ‘63 to work in Chicago every day, rain, shine or blizzard. Thank heavens for positraction! As I grew older, a more practical family car was in order so the Vette was sold to make room for a brand new ‘73 Vega… ?

Once I had a little extra cash it was time to buy my own C2. The roadster is a delightful car in the California weather. I found the coupe to be a bit stuffy in the summer.

Some Random Thoughts

Why do leftovers always taste better at midnight? Do they marinate in regret?

When I clean my car, I feel like I’ve just added 20 horsepower.

If trees could talk, they’d probably complain about the squirrels renting free space.
